A BIT ABOUT ME ...

I was born in Charleroi in 1980. My father is a guitarist and most of his friends are musicians. Since very young I'm immerse in good music. I'm always following my father at his concerts and rehearsals. When there is a party at home, I can hear Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and also Gentle Giant, XTC or Oingo Boingo. At the age of 12, I start learning a couple of pieces on classical guitar, then move to electric guitar to play the blues and jam with friends. At the age of 15, I'm crazy about heavy metal and go to Pantera or Megadeth concerts. Marty Friedman is my idol. I play in a rock band. At the age of 17, I move to Brussels and become closer with Michel Hatzigeorgiou, one of the many musician friends of my family. By his side, I learn the music of Aka Moon and get stunned by its magic. In 2003, I meet Alex Rodembourg and Victor Abel. We decide to form a trio and call it ANANKE. At that moment, I choose to play the bass. After that, I tour and record with Ananke, meet many amazing musicians and share the stage with some of them on bass or on guitar. Recently, I fall in love with the mandolin, which connects me to my italian roots and have the chance to play it in the show of my wonderful wife Carmela Giusto.

Being a musician is a blessing and I'm immensely grateful to all those who shared this passion with me and who made me progress in this never-ending journey.
